Gary C. McGee is a retired partner with McGuireWoods LLP in its Charlottesville office. He practiced  for 41 years in the area of real estate law including financing, land use law and home owner association issues. Gary graduated from William and Mary in 1962 with a BS degree and in 1965 from the University of Virginia School of Law. After graduation he clerked for one year with the Honorable Oren Lewis, US District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Gary has been active in numerous community organizations and has served in the past as Chairman of Charlottesville/Albemarle Area Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Thomas Jefferson Area United Way where he is currently assisting with raising an endowment for United Way. He has also served as a director and President of the Piedmont Community College Educational Foundation. He currently serves as a Trustee and Vice President of the Perry Foundation, Inc.

He is married to Nancy and they have two sons, one of whom resides in Roanoke and the other in Albemarle County.
