Waldo Jaquith, a graduate of the Political Leaders Program Class of 2005, was a guest on "Charlottesville—Right Now! with Coy Barefoot." He talked about the website he created, Richmond Sunlight, which tracks legislation in the Virginia General Assembly. He also discussed legislation in the Assembly this year known as the "truck nuts" bill in addition to a recent case here in Charlottesville involving a wheelchair-bound man hit by a police cruiser.

Terron Sims, a graduate of the Political Leaders Program Class of 2007, has launched a campaign for Arlington School Board.
Terron is a veteran of the Iraq War and a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is also a double alumnus of the Sorensen Institute, having recently participated in the Candidate Training Program Class of 2008.
