New Sorensen Baby!

Bernard Coleman (PLP 07) and Edda Collins (PLP 05) are the proud parents of Peyton Sarah Elizabeth Coleman, who was born Thursday evening at 7:26pm.

Peyton weighed in at 9 lbs 6 ounces and is 20 inches long.

Mommy and baby are doing fine.

Congratulations and welcome Peyton!

 

Kaine Appoints Johnson to Board

Marc Johnson (CLP 03), Assistant Director and Director of Programs at the Sorensen Institute, was appointed by Governor Tim Kaine to the Virgina Board for the Blind and Vision Impaired.

    A co-founder of Virginia21, the nation's first political action committee for college students, Brian has served as an aide to Governor Mark Warner. He is currently the Director of YRichmond, which helps to bring college interns to Virginia's capital city. In September 2007 Brian made the annual "Top 40 Under 40" list in Richmond's Style Weekly magazine.
