CLP07 Announces First Engagement

Rebekah Blackwell, a graduate of the College Leaders Program Class of 2007, recently got engaged to U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Curtis Anderson. He is stationed at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan.

Rebekah will graduate Mary Washington with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting in May 2009. The wedding will take place in Harrisonburg that summer.

    Andy is the Legal Director of the JustChildren Program at the Legal Aid Justice Center in Charlottesville. In the summer of 2005 he received the national Child Advocacy Award from the Young Lawyer’s Division of the American Bar Association, and in 2007 he received the Virginia Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year award from the Virginia State Bar Association.
