Godlewski Sisters Make Sorensen History Too

Sarah Godlewski of Arlington (at left), a member of the Political Leaders Program Class of 2008, and her sister Anna will make Sorensen history this year.

When Anna begins the College Leaders Program Class of 2008 on May 31, they will become the first sisters ever to be participants in Sorensen programs in the same year.

We recently learned that Chris (PLP 08) and Hunter (CLP 08) Fairchild are the first father and son to be participating in Sorensen programs in the same year.

    Political Leaders Program

    Class of 1994

    Jody is the former Secretary of Finance for the Commonwealth of Virginia, having been appointed by Governors Mark Warner and Tim Kaine. She is also a member of the Sorensen Institute's State Advisory Board. Jody announced her candidacy for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in 2008. The election will be held in November of 2009.
