Kumar Joins Army JAG Corps

Sean Kumar (PLP 2005) celebrated America's independence on July 4 by joining the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant in the JAG Corps. He will be in Charlottesville for 11 weeks for physical and legal training followed by six weeks at Ft. Benning, GA.  In December Sean will report for his first duty assignment in Seoul, South Korea. Congratulations Sean!

    A former Captain for the City of Charlottesville Police Department, Chip was elected Sheriff of Albemarle County in November 2007. Chip was recognized by Parade magazine as one of America's "Top Police Officers of 2007."
