Occupation: Finance Director (Fundraiser) for Delegate Ward Armstrong/ A Strong Majority PAC
Favorite part about the job: I like traveling around Virginia with Delegate Armstrong. I get to meet many interesting people. I also like knowing the importance of what I do.
Your first job ever? Working at a Marina in Newport News during the summer in High School and teaching Tennis at night.
Favorite book? I recently read Jimmy Carter's, Our Endangered Values. (See answer below)
Favorite movie? The Godfather I (Don't get me started)
Comfort food? Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes
What's in your car CD player right now? Some Springsteen, Some Beatles & Some Random Music
Next journey? Hopefully several trips to the Outer Banks this summer
Favorite Virginia vacation spot? The Homestead
First political memory? Going to vote with my parents and standing outside the polling place with my sister supporting Alan Diamonstein
Whom do you admire and why? I admire people who are not affriad to use their imagination. Astronauts, Scientists, Artists, Writers, people who believe we should keep moving forward and can see what is next.
Best advice you ever got? "Nothing you should be doing or will want to be doing will be a 9-5, 5 day a week job."
If you could have dinner with any one currently living, whom would it be and why? President Jimmy Carter. I find him a very interesting person that does not act like your average President. I recently read Our Endangered Values and saw a documentary on the Camp David Accords.
Describe a perfect day. Waking up, not too early, finding some checks in the mail box, raising $100,000, and spending the rest of the day at the beach. Can it get any better?
One thing most people might be surprised to learn about you? I played drums in a band in college. I love music.
Ambition, political or otherwise? Right now I want to help my boss be successful, but some day I would enjoy being a member of the House of Delegates.
