Vivek Kundra, a graduate of the Political Leaders Program Class of 2007, is the Chief Technology Officer for the city of Washington, D.C. and formerly an Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Trade for the Commonwealth of Virginia. He joined Coy Barefoot yesterday on "Charlottesville—Right Now!" to discuss the new ideas he has brought to the operations of government that are attracting national attention and praise. Vivek also shared some thoughts regarding the impact of emerging markets in China and India, for examples, on American commerce and education.

    Ann is the co-founder of Principle Advantage, Ltd., a consulting and lobbying firm, specializing in government relations, public affairs and grassroots outreach in Virginia Beach. She is the former Director of Legislative Affairs for Delegate Sal Iaquinto. She has served as Secretary of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach and Treasurer for the 2nd Congressional District Republican Party. Ann also works as a voice-over artist.
