Alumna Kate Berger Is First Woman To Be Elected Chair of Pittsylvannia Board of Supervisors

Sorensen graduates continue to make history. Kate Berger, an alumna of the Candidate Training Program Class of 2003 and the Danville-Southside Leaders Program Class of 2001, was recently elected Chair of the Pittsylvania County Board of Superivsors. Kate is the first woman ever to serve in that position.

    Jennifer serves in the Virginia House of Delegates where she represents the 71st District. She is also a graduate of the Political Leaders Program Class of 2001, and she is a member of the Sorensen Institute's State Advisory Board.
