AUDIO: UVA President Teresa Sullivan at PLP Graduation

U.Va.'s eighth president Teresa A. Sullivan addressed the Political Leaders Program class at graduation. Ms. Sullivan offered "a few leadership ideas" that apply to university presidents, elected officials, and volunteers alike.

She also took questions from the class on student debt, sustainability, community colleges and distance learning, defense research, and retention of engineering students.

He is a former State Chairman of the College Republican Federation of Virginia and a 2006 recipient of the Patrick Henry Award for Public Service and Leadership. He graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2007 where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Political Science.
