BREAKING: Sorensen Announces New Danville/Southside Speaker Series

The Sorensen Institute is proud to announce an all-new speaker series to explore leadership and public service. The "Southside Public Leadership Series" is funded by the E. Stuart James Grant Charitable Trust.
The series will kick off on September 20 with a talk by former Virginia Governor Mark Warner (more information on the flier at left, and a printable PDF is attached to this post).
The leadership series—six public lectures between September 2007 and May 2008—will focus on the opportunities for public service across southside Virginia for the emerging and potential leaders in that region. All events are free and open to the public and will be held in Danville.
Sean O'Brien is the Executive Director of the Sorensen Institute. "This is a wonderful opportunity for us to target the Sorensen message of public service and leadership to the southside region," O'Brien said. "We are especially honored that Governor Warner has agreed to be the first speaker in our series."
Save the date now: Thursday, September 20. We'll look forward to seeing you in Danville!
