Sorensen to Host Southside Reception in Danville

The Sorensen Institute will host a reception for alumni and prospective students in the Southside region in Danville on Monday evening, October 30.

The event will be held downtown at the Yene Fusion Cafe from 5:30-7:30pm. Light fare will be provided and the bar will be open.

All Sorensen alumni and board members in that area are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring a friend or someone you know who might be interested in applying to the Sorensen Institute for the 2007 program season.

Applications are now being accepted for the Political Leaders Program, the Candidate Training Program, and the newly redesigned Danville-Southside Public Leadership Program.

This event is being co-hosted by the Sorensen Institute's Southside Regional Board.

    After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2006, Aaron traveled to St. Louis to participate in and study local government as the recipient of a Coro Fellowship. He continues to study in St. Louis where is simultaneously earning his Master's Degree in Social Work from Washington University and a Master's in Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary.
