Thad Jones, PLP 2005

THIS JUST IN FROM RICHMOND: Thad Jones, a graduate of the Political Leaders Program Class of 2005, and Marc Johnson, Director of Sorensen's Youth Programs and a graduate of the College Leaders Program Class of 2003, both serve on the Virginia Commission on National and Community Service. At a meeting today in Richmond, the Commission chose both Thad and Marc to serve on its influential six-member Programs Committee which is responsible for reviewing AmeriCorps grant applications within the Commonwealth and for making funding recommendations to the full Commission. Congratulations to both Thad and Marc. Virginia continues to benefit from the input and contributions of Sorensen leaders.
