DESCRIPTION
This executive position reports to the Chamber president. It serves as the Chamber’s chief lobbyist and oversees four significant Chamber programs - Business Councils, GRSBDC, workforce development and Success by 6. The position is instrumental in the development of the Chamber’s public policy positions.

QUALIFICATIONS
•  A bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration or related field of study
•  Registration as a certified lobbyist in the State of Virginia
•  At least eight years of management experience, preferably in a political environment, are required.
•  Experience with associations and not for profit organizations helpful, especially volunteer and board coordination.
