A candidate training program operated by the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce in Florida—directly modeled on the Sorensen Institute's Candidate Training Program—was the subject of a story on American Public Media's Marketplace business show.

Titled "Teaching the Business of Politics," the story explored the Chamber's efforts to train members of the business community to run for office in Central Florida.

This coming weekend, January 26-28, the Sorensen Institute will host its annual Candidate Training Program in Charlottesville. The event will be held downtown at the Yene Fusion Cafe from 5:30-7:30pm. Light fare will be provided and the bar will be open.
