Shonda Copeland Ridley, a graduate of the College Leaders Program Class of 2006 and a former Sorensen Youth Program Manager, has been hired as an instructor for the Congressional Youth Leadership Conference's Inaugural Program in Washington in January.

Toby Quaranta, a graduate of the College Leaders Program Class of 2005, has joined the ranks of Sorensen Alumni on Capitol Hill in Washington.

He is joining Senator Barbara Boxer's team as a Staff Assistant next week.

State Advisory Board Welcomes New Members

Congratulations to Jordan Miles, a graduate of the College Leaders Program Class of 2008. Jordan has been appointed to the Longwood University Faculty Senate as the Student Representative. The Faculty Senate considers and approves items such as university curriculum, educational policy, faculty status, promotion and tenure issues, faculty development, faculty awards, and finance and planning. Way to go Jordan!
