Former U.S. Attorney John Brownlee, a candidate for Virginia Attorney General in the 2009 election, spoke last night in Danville on the topic of public service and leadership. The event was the final talk for the 07-08 season of the Sorensen Institute's Southside Public Leadership Speakers Series. Sorensen to Host AG Candidate John Brownlee in Danville

CONFIRMED: The Sorensen Institute will host former U.S. Attorney and candidate for Virginia Attorney General John Brownlee in Danville. Brownlee will speak on his path to leadership as part of our Southside Public Leadership Speakers Series.

Brownlee's talk will take place on Tuesday, June 10 at the Institute for Advance Learning and Research in Danville at 7 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

The Sorensen Institute will host former Virginia Senator Charles Hawkins in Danville this coming Tuesday evening at 7pm at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research.
